A Thank You...
This is the story from my point of view... =)
It's my turn to speak out. Wow! These past few days preparing for my birthday was very tiring but exciting because I'll be celebrating this with my old and new friends here in Malaysia. And am looking forward to celebrating it AGAIN when I get to the Philippines! Of course with my Kyle!...
I had my birthday tantrums when this time of the year in my life comes. Feeling so depressed, wondering things that happened to me for the past year and thinking what went wrong in my life. This has been the case for each birthdays. I always tell my friends about this so they won't get offended when my tantrums strikes! hahaha... My friend once told me that I should be counting the things which were treasures to me, which is the right thing to do. But still, my so low-EQ brain would still insist on counting my mistakes. But still its good to look back on the mistakes I have done coz this has made me who I am now.
I would like to thank each of those who have been part on this super extravagant 18th birthday celebration! I am not good in planning parties so when Gen and Anai said they would take care of everything, I said 'Sure, no problem!' hahaha... At least I would have party coordinators for FREE!!!! I was so surprised they are really taking this role with their heart and soul! If I can remember it right, if it was more than a month before that day comes, they are already talking to me if i want to have games on my party. I would always joked around that if I would have it, I would like to have charade and the words that should be for guessed is about me. Then they said its hard!... hahaha I knew it was hard! Then I suggest ok, what about truth or dare (the naughty version!) but you have to bring men in the party so the theme would be my shower party... hahaha... I think I'm making them a hard time planning my party. So I said let's just eat and sing! Then we both agree.
It was first of June and they are asking me to send out an invitation already! Whoah... what is this??? A real 18th birthday??? hahaha I told Anai that I would do it during the week of the exact date. But she was my party coordinator so we agreed to send it halfway when I want it and when she wants it. Whew!!!
I am soooo excited its getting nearer and I told Anai that I think this won't be good. I don't usually want to feel so excited on something because I hate to get disappointed. Which when its getting nearer, I'm having some disappointments already! But then, I have a low-EQ as I mentioned earlier. I was so disappointed I had it all planned but i think it is really natural what you expect is not what exactly happens. That's the way life is!
It was June 14 and surprises has started! I was watching Grey's Anatomy inside my room. And I was chit-chatting with Anai at the same time doing a countdown till it ticks 12 midnight. I was so surprised my door opens and there they are, Kristin, Osang, and Em! Singing Happy Birthday and holding my ever-favorite-cake-of-the-year -- Chocolate Indulgence! hahaha... I was so surprised I was jumping in joy, clapping and singing with them! hahaha!! (Can you picture it??? =P) And then when the morning comes, I had a flower on my desk with a CHOCOLATE again! hahaha I love this day! I love SURPRISES!!!! hihihi
Gen said I was banned to the haus on lunchtime. And they asked Jeng to get me away from the house! O well, Jeng is known for spilling information when you ask her. She said 'Ano ba, kaya nga tayo magkasama sa lunch kasi inutusan nila ako na ilayo ka kasi meron sila surprise sayo!' There it is... hahaha so i told Jeng to check it out. But I didn't know Jeng would take that role too seriously. Anyways, I can't stop thinking what could probably be the surprise is. I really can't think of a one.
Alrighty! it was 6:30PM and Anai accompanied me going home. When we entered the house... wow! there are a lot of balloons!!!!!! and it was GREEN, my fave color! I was jumping out again! (As usual) hahaha... this is me... My friends are coming one by one and it was really a good party until they all sing and asked me to blow the candles! My wish???? I will tell you when it came true =P
Then the mysterious card! wow why are they having so many surprises??? I'm loving it! Hahaha... And for my persistence to see what are they doing in my room, I found it. It was so very sweet! I cried!!! Well, there's nothing new, I cry always!!! hahaha... But now I'm crying coz I'm so happy! I can't explain the feeling. How could they planned all this and I am so 100% clueless! They are very GOOD!
You have made a special day even more special to me. I don't know what I have done to all of you to deserve all of this. But I want to thank you for putting all these efforts to make me so happy! I AM!!!! Thank you very much!
