For I know well the plans I have in mind for you says the Lord, plans for your welfare not for woe, plans to give you a future full of hope – Jeremiah 29:11
The first time I bumped into you was in a dinning table. True to the saying “the nature of sharing a meal, indicates that we have a certain level of communion with those with whom we eat”, I felt your concern for me. It is when you said “kawawa ka naman, bawal ang seafood sayo..kame (or was it Ako?) na lang ang kakain ng share mo.” I was stunned that I don’t know what to say and how to react to that new built friendship hehehe J
Minnie, for your birthday, my prayer is that may God continue to bless you in every aspect of your life, especially with your relationships (son, family etc). May you not only continue to be up-beat, crazy and funny, but also grow in wisdom and inspire others with how you handle your life.
I admire your great love for your son, Kyle, and the sacrifices you made to build a good future for him. When it comes to being faithful to a calling, I believe you are very faithful to the call of being a responsible mother. I know you will be blessed for the generosity through your son. In Sirach 35:10 is says “The Lord is the one who always repay and He will give back to you seven fold.”
As you grow older; new trial and problems would come you way. Just remember you are not alone; the Lord would grasp your right hand and say to you “Fear not, I will help you (Isaiah 41:13).”
Consider it all joy Minnie, when you encounter various trials fro you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance and let perseverance be perfect so that you may be perfect and complete, lack nothing (James 1:2-4).
God has filtered the trials that come your way according to your capacity. May you hope in the Lord who will renew your strength and make you soar above your problems as with eagle’s wings (Isaiah 40:31).
May the warmth of God’s embrace be with you in your special day; this embrace may be through the people who’s lives you’ve touched in one way or another. May you continue to be a blessing to your family and friends.
I know that God’s blessings are on their way and a future full of hope awaits you.
Happy Birthday! :-)
In Christ,
Dru Ballesteros
